What?! Summer is over?!?!

Yup! Starting school on Monday! Braxton will be in first grade( my baby!!!), and Skyler will be learning Kindergarten material ( He missed the deadline by 10 days.) from what I taught Braxton last year. So, with this, Skyler will be more than ready to roll into Kindergarten next year for full credit. We do a program that is full accredited, and being able to do it from home. We joined a group that goes through the same program, and are going to be meeting with kids their group age.. SO EXCITED for this school year! Braxton is enrolled in~ science, math, language arts, phonics, history, PE, and his elective this year is ART. I have stocked up on things that Skyler will be able to do side by side with brother and have found many science sites out on the web for young boys that will engage Skyler in the science field, as Braxton is along with his, and Art supplies for Skyler, just like Big Brother! We are excited to engage more into reading with both boys too.

This summer has been fun. Meemo and Papa ( Dads/Jarods Mom and Step dad) came to visit for about a week from Wisconsin. We Loved them here, and so sad they left. They brought with them Geneva, Jarod and I's niece. We were able to go to the firehouse and get a tour, because our neighbor is a captain and a peramedic. Skyler was exstatic!! He loves to dress up in his fireman costume... He was inspired by  Eric, our neighbor. ( halloween 2011, Skyler searched and searched for the perfect fireman costume.. HE FOUND one!!.. He suited up and had to go show Eric... he felt like he fit in perfectly now ).. With that being said, he had to wear his outfit to the station too. We had a blast at a water park, Rexburg Rapids, about 40 ish minutes away. Skyler seems to be a Papa's boy and Braxton seems to be a Meemo's boy.. They are very fortunate to have these guys for grandparents. I must add, I am very fortunate to have them as my in-laws! Special People!
We were fortunate to go this past weekend and spend a few days up in Jefferson City ( about 15 miles out of Helena, MT) to visit Meemo's sister and brother in-law, Aunt Dorthy and Uncle Craig. We took our puppy, Egon, a 6 month old cocker spaniel. Egon had a blast romping and playing around with their dog Maximo, a Scottish terrier. That Saturday, we spent about 7/8 hours out on a boat .. It was Beautiful. We had a blast playing behind the boat. We learned that Egon does not like the water, as much as Maximo.  Boys bonded with that side of the family, and teared up as we pulled away to head back to Idaho
.
posting a few pictures of the summer wrap up we had at the Littell house! We are very blessed!
