Sit back and see what you can learn.. From your kiddos. You can learn a lot from them :)

From your kiddos. For the end cap of the week, I decided I was going to sit back and see what I have learned through out the week, from 2 most energized little boys, that God has given us. In some instances, learning lessons have allowed us to chuckle after the event has been conquered.

* Braxton decides he is sick of his glasses, so he places them on the couch. Little brother, Skyler, comes along and decides those glasses where in his way on the couch, and ever so nicely put them on the ground. The littlest boy of all, Egon( must add, the fabulous name was inspired by Ghostbusters),our 4 month old pup, decided he would be very generous, and in doing so, he chew up the glasses.... Oh, the chain reaction that resulted in having to order new glasses. ( must follow their mothers DNA there...from when I was a child with glasses, sorry mom!)

*Brothers will always fight ( what I have learned thus fur in the journey of raising 2 boys), but they are quick to love each other when they get hurt. Braxton was getting doctored up by Dr. Mom, because of a scrape on his knee. Skyler, reached over to Braxton's hand and said, "you can squeeze and hold my hand."

* I wonder if its a boy thing, for them to think, "its only fun if you make the SuPeR loud sound effects, while running around tormenting each other or the dog through the upstairs..( adding in the heard of elephant noises you hear from downstairs, with the thumping of the feet upstairs on the hardwood floor)

* Boys will always have a boys heart, even as they grow older. Dad, Jarod, isn't afraid to get on the boy's level and join on in their ruckus. I think its everyday, when I say ,"shhhh" or "its bed time!" God picked the perfect daddy for our lil' men, Braxton and Skyler.

*When near water.. First reaction is to pick something and throw it in.. Rocks! Sticks! dirty shoes. Out of this extravaganza, Dad was able to show them the effects of throwing the rocks into the lake and watching the ripples. NEAT.

*Watching fireworks at Rigby Lake last-night, it was very clear to me, that I married a kid at heart(xoxox). Father, and both sons had glow sticks. They decided to act like Harry Potter and wave the sticks around and it would seem as though the sticks would generate the magical - ness of fireworks. ( Honey, I love you)
